Let’s Talk About Ovarian Cancer

Do you know the symptoms?

  • Persistent bloating or swollen tummy
  • Reduced appetite or feeling full quickly
  • Pain or tenderness in tummy or pelvis
  • Needing to wee more urgently or often

Symptoms will be:

  • Frequent – usually more than 12 times a month
  • Persistent – they don’t go away
  • New – not normal for you

Other possible symptoms:

  • Diarrhoea/constipation
  • Tired all the time
  • Weight loss
  • Back pain
  • Bleeding after menopause

There are many other (non-cancer) causes for these symptoms but if you are concerned, its best to get them checked out.

Finding ovarian cancer earlier can mean its more treatable.

Have the conversation. Speak to your GP.
